为激励考研学生们在考研道路上更自信、坚定地为考研目标而努力，10月15日，外国语学院学工办团委邀请学院杨洁副院长在耕读楼2538报告厅向学生作考研中期动员和指导。

杨洁副院长从考研的意义、如何备考、备考心态等方面对学生进行动员和指导。她希望学生们通过考研进一步提升自己的专业素养，给自己发展创造更高的平台，给自己未来更多的选择机会，提高自己的就业竞争力和就业薪资起点；考研准备复习要求实求精。备考科目要全面复习，以防单科受限，备考应注重做题的质量而非数量，把书读厚读薄，形成知识体系；备考准备中，查找报考院校的往年考研真题，明确考研重点。杨洁副院长强调，考生在考研过程中要合理分配复习时间，放平心态，勤奋付出，坚持不懈，切忌半途而废；此外，遇到困难时，学生要积极与老师或同学交流，及时寻求他人帮助。

最后，针对考生在备考现阶段存在的各种问题，杨洁副院长进行了详细解答，尤其是在英语阅读和翻译方面，她传授了一些很好的经验和技巧。

近些年来，学院以学生为本，重视学生未来发展，把考研作为学院学风建设和学生就业的抓手，在学生备考过程中，通过报告会，谈心的措施，坚定学生考研信心，化解遇到的心理困惑和困难。(作者：王子华)

CFL Holds a Mobilization Meeting for Postgraduate Entrance Examination

In order to mobilize the postgraduate candidates to prepare the entrance examination more confidently and firmly, on October 15th, the Youth League Committee and Student Affairs Office of CFL invited Prof. Yang Jie, vice dean of the college, to give students mid-term mobilization and guidance in the lecture hall, Room 2538,Gengdu Building.

Yang’s lecture aimed to help students be clear with the significance of the exam, the effective methods to prepare the exam and the right attitude toward the exam. Yang noted that this exam was a perfect opportunity for the students to improve their professional competence, build more and higher platforms for their development, and raise their employment competitiveness and even future salary level. Yang said the preparation plan should be carried on step by step and continuously. While focusing on the key points and building knowledge system, the students should never neglect any subject as there was a minimum score requirement of each subject. Also, students needed to find the test papers of the previous years of their target universities and be clear with the key points. Students should allocate time reasonably, calm their minds, work diligently, persevere until achieving their success; and when they encounter difficulties, it is advisable for them to seek help from teachers or classmates.

Finally, Yang answered in detail the students’ questions about the exam preparation. In particular, she shared some good experience and skills in English reading and translation.

In recent years, being student-oriented, the college attaches great importance to students' future development, and takes the postgraduate entrance examination as the key point for the improvement of academic atmosphere and students' employment.
