为使外国语学院英语系学生能对英语专业有更加清晰的认识，对未来择业有更加明确的规划， 4月18日下午英语系教师牛亚卿在学院报告厅举行“英语专业介绍&学习规划建议”主题讲座。

讲座吸引了大批学生前来听讲，学生们怀着高涨的热情认真倾听牛老师细致入微，幽默风趣的讲解。牛老师从高等教育普遍现状、英语专业发展现状、就业前景、学生择业、《国标》对英语专业学生的能力要求等方面进行了介绍，同时结合优秀学长学姐的例子，为学生们讲解了关于保研、考研及英语专业考证的相关事项，并对学生的提问进行了悉心解答。

该讲座为英语系“学术活动月”学术讲座系列第一场，接下来将有更多精彩学术讲座，敬请期待！

Introduction to English major and  Learning Planning lecture  successfully held

To help English majors acquire a better understanding of their major and  make a clearer plan for their future career, on April 18, Niu yaqing, associate  professor from English Department, held a lecture on  Introduction  to English major and Learning Planning in the                                  college lecture hall.

The freshmen of the English major were attracted to the lecture and  enjoyed Mr. Niu's humorous and detailed explanation with great enthusiasm. The  lecture focused on the overall situation of higher education, the current  situation of the development of English major,   students' career prospects as well as requirements on the ability of  English majors according to National  Standards of Teaching Quality for Undergraduate English Majors. Meanwhile,  he briefed on the postgraduate recommendation policies and certifications the  English major should get during four-year study. At the end of the lecture, Niu  answered students' questions with patience.

This  is the first of the serial lectures in English Department's Academic Month, and  there'll be more ademic lectures to expect.
